Heel Lift is yellow soft foam on the inside and SET foam very firm on the outside for stability.
Use heel lift for total pressure relief of the heel for pressure sore prevention, antidecubitus and healing of pressure sores. Heel lifter-Heel reliever can also be used for elbow relief.
Advice can be to use a small cushion below the knee to avoid overstretch of the leg, when you use heel lift 10 cm. Remember to support the foot if there is a drop foot.
Pressure-relieving heel lifts are shown in the picture with Soft-Cell™ covers, which can be purchased separately. To use skin friendly Soft-Cell™ cover on heel lift is recommended. Soft-Cell™ cover for Heel Lifter can be selected with velcro, so that heel lifts remain in place, even if the citizen gets in and out of bed.
