SAFE ViscoPore® foam is visco-elastic temperature sensitive foam, shaping to the body. The foam is pressure distributing, soundless and provides stability. The foam is firm by low temperatures and by body warmth and pressure it shapes to the body and distributes pressure.
TEX® is a stable elastic foam used for mattresses.
The mattress core test simulates an approximately 10 years use of overlay mattress in private environment and 5 years in institutional (Nursing home & Hospital) use.
Tolerances subject to the ISO 9001 approved procedures.
1. Compression Set:
Procedure (as per DIN ES ISO 1856A):
The mattress core sample is compressed to 50% of the original overall gauge.
The compression is kept at temperature of 70°C (158°F) 22 hours.
Maximum allowed gauge loss: 10%
2. Dynamic Fatigue by constant load pounding:
Procedure (as per DIN EN ISO 3385):
80 000 physical cycle loads with a frequency of 70 single loads per minute are applied. Test equipment: Plate diameter of 25 cm (9,8 in), weight 75 kg (165 lbs).
Maximum allowed hardness loss: 20%
